Happy Holiday from In Love PTC

Well, 2011 is coming to a close. It has been a very good year here at In Love PTC. We have been online now for 8 months, have over 1100 members, and have made $90 in payouts to our members. I hope that we can increase it all, members and payout 10 times as much in the coming months.

One the Emoneyspace ranking, we are ranked #71 in all PTC sites. Being in the top 100 is great!I owe it all to the members.

We grown and change all the time. We were a basic ptc/te site, looking like all the rest. We now have Chat in our advertising area, we have a forum for our members, and even a splash page, instead of just a standard page for our members to get referrals.

Now enough about the past year, now we look forward to the coming year. I am a big fan of personal branding. That when you advertise, you need to not only advertise your product, but advertise yourself. You need to get your name out there, your picture out there, you, you, you, you!

I will use soda as an example. Ever heard of coke cola? Know the company colors? Know the company logo? I'm sure you do. How did they get you to know them? You saw them over and over. Most people see a polar bear and think of coke's winter advertising. People come to know and trust that image. Let people know you, and come to trust your image. People are more likely to work with and trust a person they know than a mysterious person promoting a page.

Talk in chat, add your photo, go to adkreator and make a personal splash page. Add your name, add your photo, add you to your ads!

A lot has happened in a year!

Last year, on this date, I was in a car accident. Broken bones, taken by helicopter from site to hospital, didn't walk for months! Of course, if it wasn't for that accident, I would not have been using PTC sites, nor would I be the owner of In Love PTC.

Now look were we are now!

Did a great surf promo with Click Fred Traffic and we had over 5,000 sites viewed in our traffic exchange.

We have a great chat program with My Chat Box!

We, meaning our members, raised $5 for Breast Cancer Awareness which gave one woman an hour of counseling.

The members donated for Joseph Riley!

We are now 939 Members strong, and growing every day!

October Happenings at InLovePTC.info

So much going on in the past few weeks.

Just a rant and some information about personal branding

{EAV_BLOG_VER:ab7b9cf236d7482d} I received an email the other day. Headline, PTC sites that really pay. Gave a list with all their referral links, and said they were paid from these sites. Now I didn't know who this person was. Spam email, but I read the list. Thought to myself, if they paid them, they will pay me I am sure.


As I am reading the list, I see sites that I requested payment from 6 months ago or more. Half the list is sites on scam boards, and then I got thinking. They just belong here and tell me they got paid, so I will join under them.

This is where personal branding comes in. If I get an email from someone I know, and have spoken with, and have come to trust, it puts more weight behind what they say. This person who sent the email is a liar in my book. I will never trust anything they ever say or send out.


Branding has a two edge sword. What type of person are you? One who just says what people want to hear, and to hell with the consequences? Or do you want to be the person who speaks the truth, weather or not people follow you? Only you can make that choice.




 

We Now Have Chat

How can I blog one week about personal branding, and not have chat on the site?

Personal Branding?

There is much talk about personal branding. You hear a word here and there, and then you hear it every where. You are thinking, why? How? Where?

Personal branding is not something that happened to come up this month. Personal branding, self-positioning and all individual branding by whatever name, was first introduced in the 1981 book: "Positioning: The Battle for your Mind", by Al Ries and Jack Trout. Personal branding has continued to gain in popularity as a tool to manage reputation online, especially though social networking sites like Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter  (Copied from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_branding)

Why? This is what I understand the reason why. If a stranger came up to you and said, you should eat this type of candybar, it is really good, you might shrug them off. But if a friend of yours said the same thing, you might listen. If people get to know you, see your photo, know what you believe, they may listen more to what you have to say. If you are an honest person, and people get to know this, they are more likely to purchase or sign up for what you are promoting. Better than a bland page, a splash page with your photo, or way to contact you. Make yourself known as a person, not just as someone promoting one more "Big Thing on the Net"

How? I myself let people know who I am by participating in chats, making splash pages. You can find out how to do that here.at AdKreator and by joining other sites and participating in the forums.

Where? Everywhere! Facebook, Twitter, Traffic exchanges, chat rooms, social networking sites, forums, so many places for people to get to know you.

Don't just say hello, buy this, or hello, join that. Talk with people. If you are just being yourself, people will ask you what you are promoting. What you are doing to make money online.

Now go and make those splash pages. Put them up in the exchanges, use the chat area, get to know other people. Make yourself known!

I am a member of Buxona. I have earned by clicks over $80. Truth is, I never had any money in alert pay to send in $5 so I could get payout. I finaly had the money, added the funds, and requested payout. Guess what, this is what I get:

They never paid me, I bet they don't pay anyone. Stay away from this PTC site. They got me good. Over $80 worth of clicks and the $5 I added. I should have known better than to add funds. Anyway, be warned!

What's been going on at InLovePTC.Info

We have been growing. We now have 120 members and are growing every day. We have some very great sites being advertised there. Wonderful members. A forum has been added, along with polls, and even some wonderful advertising programs with other sites.

Once we have gotten a few more exchange sites added, there will be bonuses added to the exchange.I want to thank all the members who have helped me. This is turning into a very nice place to earn and once we all start using the forum a great place for us to get to know each other better.

I wont be having a site that is here today gone tomorrow. There are wonderful people advertising on this site. Great programs being promoted. Hope you come on over, see all the great stuff at the site, and become part of the inloveptc family.

Why did I want to start a PTC site?

People ask my, why start a paid to click or get paid to site. I'll tell you why. I was in a bad car wreck. Could not use my legs for months. Mortgage was due, bills pilled up, and I looked online for  a way for me to help out until I got better.
My husband was looking at PTC site. All day while he was at work, I clicked and clicked. He'd come home from working a construction job all day, and click for a few hours every night. When we finally reached payout, either they closed, or said, pay us then we'll pay you, or wait 90 days for payment.
If it was like that for us, it has to be that way for lots of people. So after talking for weeks and weeks (still clicking hoping one would pay out) we decided to take the plunge. I mean, someone paid for the ads. Someone was getting paid, but not paying out. Well, let's get one going that you don't have to upgrade to get paid. Where when you reach that $2 or $10 or even $100 payout, opps, it's more now to reach payout amount.

Will we get rich? No. Will we make sure everyone gets every red cent they clicked for? Yes Not all people who start PTC sites are out to jerk people around. Some people really do want to do the right thing. I know that for a fact.
